SPACE BY SPACE ORGANIZING
At Space by Space Organizing, we believe your home should be your sanctuary—a place that flows effortlessly, serves your unique needs, and brings you joy.
Our mission is to help you create that space by working with you through a personalized, thoughtful approach to organization. Whether we're transforming your entire home, supporting you through an estate clear-out, or helping you better understand your relationship with stuff, we're here to support you.
MEET COLLEEN
I am honored to own and operate a business that helps to completely transform peoples lives.
I am inspired by the challenge of every new home we enter, figuring out what is important to the client, the barriers getting in the way of their productivity and flow, and how we can best serve this person and the ones they share their home with. I love the process of taking everything out, evaluating it in a thoughtful way, and either letting things go or putting items back in a more organized, intentional way. With labels.
CEO & LEAD ORGANIZER
While organizing has always been a passion of mine, I believe that everything I have done personally and professionally has led me to this perfect career for me. I get to use my ADHD as a super power while I hyper focus and work my magic in a client’s home. My education and world travels have carved a curiosity and empathy for people which makes me feel like a friend helping go through your prized possessions rather than a hired stranger. My entrepreneurial nature supports my energy for each new client as if I am starting a new, important venture with each new job.
I have a bachelors degree in psychology and have always loved to think of why each of us are wired as we are. Many organizers view their jobs as a mental health service, and I believe this completely.
I worked at The Container Store for over a year during the pandemic and became an expert in products available - there and otherwise. . Through this job, I met a local professional organizer and worked for her business before naturally launching my own in January 2023.

Meet the Team
OUR “OFFICE”
In late 2024 we expanded our operations by renting warehouse space at Warespace, a co-working facility in Eden Prairie. This dedicated space not only prevents Colleen’s home from becoming its own ongoing mess, but allows our team to better manage what goes into our client homes as well as what comes out during the de-cluttering process.Having a dedicated hub lets us stock frequently used products, stage and prepare for client projects, and streamline logistics so we bring exactly what each job needs.
Designed for entrepreneurs who have a frequent flow of items coming in and out, Warespace is equipped with loading docks, shipping access, and reliable waste removal, making large projects and estate clear-outs far more efficient.
Community & team benefits
Warespace places us in a vibrant shared‑workspace community of contractors, furniture flippers, and small businesses, which has expanded our local partnerships and resources. It also gives the team a professional place for meetings, staging, and administrative work when we’re not in clients’ homes.
A home for “Purged Treasures”, our reselling arm.
The warehouse enabled Purged Treasures, our profit‑share reselling service for clients who are downsizing or clearing estates and have items of higher value to resell. We inventory items in a managed system, photograph and list pieces, and coordinate storage and shipping so clients get fair value without the hassle.
Does all this sound like a team you’d like to be part of?
At Space by Space Organizing, we’re more than just organizers—we’re creators of calm, champions of clarity, and lovers of a good laugh along the way. Our team is close-knit, collaborative, and values-driven.

Our part-time organizer positions are ideal for people who:
don’t mind rolling up their sleeves, sometimes getting a little dusty, and doing meaningful, hands-on work.
Desire part-time flexibility - many of our jobs run roughly 10 AM –4 PM, which fits people who want meaningful daytime work without evenings.
Want to have a fun job while taking the business of organizing seriously.
Roles range from one-day-a-month to weekly or more as client demand grows. If you’re interested, tell us about your organizing experience, availability, and why you’d like to work with Space by Space.
