One of the best things about this work? No two projects are ever the same. Every space has its own history, its own habits (both good and bad), and its own challenges. Some have been lived in for years, accumulating clutter and routines that don’t quite work anymore. Others are already functioning well but just need a little fine-tuning. And then there are the brand-new spaces—where we get to start fresh and build the best possible system from day one.

That’s what makes this so fun. Every project is its own puzzle, and no two solutions look exactly alike.

Our Process: Simple, Smart, and Tailored to You

1. A Big Consultation – Following our initial conversation, we will schedule an in-person consultation. During this step, our team will take photos of your space(s), take measurements, and discuss the space with you to get a thorough understanding and come up with a game plan. This step allows us to be prepared for our next visit! No pre-cleaning necessary! We want to understand how you really use your space, the habits you’ve built (good and bad), and the specific challenges you’re facing.

2. A Big Sort – This step allows us to take a look at what you have within your space to get an idea of what we are working with. This is a time-consuming step as we take out every item in a space, sort by category, and completely clear the space before we put it back together. By doing this, we are able to inventory what you own so that together, we can put this space back together in a way that works for you. We make smart adjustments so your space is easier to use every single day.

3. A Big Sort – This step allows us to take a look at what you have within your space to get an idea of what we are working with. This is a time-consuming step as we take out every item in a space, sort by category, and completely clear the space before we put it back together. By doing this, we are able to inventory what you own so that together, we can put this space back together in a way that works for you. We make smart adjustments so your space is easier to use every single day.

4. A Big Purge – After we sort through everything, the client comes back in and goes through every item one by one to determine what stays, what goes, or what is donated. During this process, we are listening to your attachment to your items or how they are used on a daily basis to ensure we properly utilize or place the item back into your space. Please remember… we are not anti-stuff; we are anti-stuff getting in the way of your life. This step is where most clients will need to take a walk—this step can be very overwhelming, but trust the process and think of how great the final outcome will be!

5. A Big Re-Evaluation/Organization – This step is where we determine how we will organize your space, what products will be used, and how to best utilize your space with daily usage and upkeep in mind! This is where the magic happens, and your space will be transformed! Our team puts your space back together in an intentional and logical way. Whether we’re working with what you have or bringing in fresh storage solutions, the goal is always the same: a setup that feels intuitive, sustainable, and (let’s be real) easy to maintain.

6. A Big Check-In – After we are done, we like to take a step back and make sure the space works for you! We want your new space to feel logical, intentional, and functional.

7. A Big Sigh of Relief – After the project is completed, you will feel a HUGE sigh of relief as we leave you with your newly organized space or as we shift to the next space.
